Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get a really good fake Rolex GMT-Master II, the left-handed version, for a while now. I did some digging around online, trying to figure out where the best place to get one is. Apparently, this place called “Noob Factory” used to be the go-to for Rolex replicas, but from what I’ve read, they’re not around anymore. Bummer, right?
Anyways, I found a few different online stores that sell these things. I’ve heard about some “factory” options from this site that I often visit, but I’m not entirely sure which one is the best. I also found out that there are new models of the real Rolex GMT, specifically the 126713, I guess it has a yellow gold version that just came out in 2023. They call it the “Jubilee” bracelet, and it’s got some new features like a “3285 Perpetual movement” and a different bezel color. Sounds fancy, but I just want a good fake, you know?
I also learned a bit about the differences between the GMT-Master and the GMT-Master II. It seems like the GMT-Master II lets you read three different time zones, which is kind of cool, I guess. I don’t really need that, but it’s good to know.
How to Spot a Fake
Now, the important part: how to tell if it’s a fake. From what I gathered, you’re supposed to check the case for a serial number, and make sure the bezel rotates smoothly and the colors are right. Also, the bracelet and clasp should have some detailed engravings, and when you adjust the time, the hour hand should “jump” instead of moving smoothly. I hope I can remember all that when I’m looking at these watches.
Oh, and apparently, the real Rolex GMT-Master II has two types of bracelets: the “Oyster” and the “Jubilee.” The Oyster has 12 links, and the Jubilee has 22. They started making these in 1954, so they’ve been around for a while.
My Shopping Experience
I started by looking at a few online stores. I checked out their websites, looked at the pictures, and read the descriptions. They all claimed to have the “best quality” replicas, of course. I even messaged a couple of them with some questions. One of them got back to me pretty quickly, and we chatted for a bit. They seemed knowledgeable, but I’m still not 100% sure.
I narrowed it down to two stores that seemed the most legit. They both had a decent selection of left-handed GMT-Master IIs, and the prices were similar. I compared the pictures and descriptions, trying to spot any differences. It’s hard to tell just from pictures, though. One had better quality pictures, it is hard to tell they are different.
I finally decided to pull the trigger and ordered one from one of the stores. I paid through their website, it was a bit of a hassle, but I got it done. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive. I’m a little nervous, but also excited. I hope I made the right choice and it is indeed a high quality replica.
Fingers Crossed
- Waiting Game: Now I’m just playing the waiting game. It’s supposed to take a few weeks to arrive. I’ll keep checking the tracking information and hoping for the best.
- Inspection Time: Once it arrives, I’ll inspect it carefully, comparing it to the pictures and descriptions online. I’ll also check all the details I learned about spotting a fake.
- Fingers crossed: that it’s a good one! If it is, I’ll be pretty happy. If not, well, I guess I’ll have to figure something out. Maybe I’ll try the other store, or maybe I’ll just give up on the whole thing.
I will update this post when I get the watch! Wish me luck, guys!
