Okay, so I was trying to get this bag, right? This Fendi Mama Forever Shoulder Bag. Saw it online, looked pretty sweet, and I thought, “Why not? Let’s give it a shot.” I mean, it’s a Fendi, and those are supposed to be, like, top-notch or something.
So, I ordered it. The site said it was the real deal. “You can return it if you don’t like it,” they said. Whatever, I figured if it’s junk, I’ll just send it back. No biggie.
When it got here, I opened it up. First thing I checked was the logo. They say it’s a big deal, this Fendi logo. It was there, looked okay, I guess. I don’t know, I’m not a logo expert or anything. They also said something about a “leather strap” – that’s the part that goes on your shoulder. Felt kind of soft, so that was cool.
- Checked the logo.
- Looked at the strap.
- Wondered if it’s really worth all the fuss.
I tried finding some guides online, something about a “Perfect Copy” or something. Didn’t really get what that meant. Is it real or not? Who knows. Anyway, I used the bag for a couple of days. It held my stuff, that’s for sure. Wallet, keys, phone – all the usual junk.
After a while, I started thinking, “Is this really worth it?” I mean, it’s just a bag, right? I saw some other Fendi bags for sale online, used ones. They were cheaper. Maybe I should have gotten one of those.
So, the bottom line
I guess if you’re into Fendi and you want to feel fancy, this bag does the job. But for me? I don’t know, it was more about the name than anything else. Maybe I’ll try a used one next time. Or maybe I’ll just stick to my old backpack. We’ll see.
